The Village of Burnham Water Department is dedicated to the Health, Safety, and Welfare of the community.  Our goal is meet and exceed all Federal, State and Local requirements in providing the highest quality of drinking water, fire protection flows and the most efficient sewage disposal system.

Water and Sewer Billing

Every resident of the water and sewer system will receive a bill every month. Service period usually ends on the 27th of the month.  Payments are due by the 15th of each month. We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Check, Money Order or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card).  A late fee of 10% is automatically applied 10 days after the due date if payment is not received. Whenever any water bill or part thereof for water service shall remain unpaid for a period of more than fourteen (14) days from the date of the statement or invoice provided for in this section, a five-day water “shut off notice” shall be posted on the, stating that the water shall be turned off unless the outstanding bill is paid in full.  After the aforesaid fourteen (14) day period and five (5) day shut off notice, THE WATER SHALL BE TURNED OFF FROM SERVICING THE PREMISES OF SUCH DELINQUENT CONSUMER.  After payment of the bill in arrears on terms satisfactory to the Village, the water supply shall be turned on only upon payment of the turn-on fee of one-hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for the services of the Village in turning off and/or turning on the water.

Current Fees: As of May 1, 2020

Water Fee:       $8.76 per 1,000 gallons

Sewer Fee:      $1.00 per 1,000 gallons
