Residents,
The boil order in your area has been lifted in the area of
144th & 145th Marquette, Manistee, Muskegon, Hammond,
Goodrich and Martha Place,
The Village of Burnham Water Department advises consumers to flush water pipes within their
homes. Flush every sink and bathtub for at least 5 minutes until sediment or discoloration has
subsided. Some types of water treatment devices may need to be disinfected and flushed to
remove any contaminated water before use. Depending on the type of water treatment device, the
device may need to be replaced. Check with the manufacturer for details.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
-Burnham Water Dept.
Water System Update Notice 2-6-26
Village of Burnham – Water System Update
The Village of Burnham would like to provide an update regarding a precautionary notice that
was recently posted.
Out of an abundance of caution, a precautionary message was shared while routine system
checks were being completed. At no time was there a loss of water pressure, and the Village’s
water supply has remained safe throughout.
Residents may continue to use their water normally for drinking, cooking, bathing, and all
household needs. No boil order is in effect, and no action is required by residents.
The Village remains committed to proactive communication and ensuring the continued safety
and reliability of the water system. We appreciate the community’s understanding and
cooperation.
If you have any questions, please contact the Village for additional information.
Thank you,
